Conquering Mount Everest is a once-in-a-lifetime feat for most, but 29-year-old Chhurim Sherpa is the first person to reach the summit of the world’s tallest mountain twice in one week. She was formally recognized for her amazing achievement by Guinness World Records. “I really want other Nepalese women to get involved in mountaineering,” Chhurim was quoted on CNN.com. “We should have a can-do attitude so that we can move forward and not be left behind simply because we’re women.”
